Athletes Of The Week

Kaylin Davis

Cincinnati Christian is proud to recognize sophomore guard Kaylin Davis as this week’s Athlete of the Week following an impressive stretch of play highlighted by her standout performance against Madeira. Kaylin delivered one of her strongest games of the season, providing consistent scoring, composure, and energetic two-way play that helped fuel CCS’s second half surge. She attacked the basket with confidence, created quality looks for herself and her teammates, and remained a vocal presence on the defensive end. Her ability to step up in key moments was a major factor in the team’s rally and second half win on the scoreboard. Throughout the week, Kaylin demonstrated a high level of maturity and focus in practice, showing a commitment to improving the details of her game while elevating the standard of those around her. Her consistency, work ethic, and versatility continue to make her an important piece of the Lady Cougars’ lineup as they prepare for a challenging stretch of conference and nonconference opponents. Cincinnati Christian is excited for Kaylin’s continued development and proud to highlight her contributions as she emerges as a key player for the program moving forward.

In the two weeks between the intersquad meet and the meet at Mariemont, Caylee dropped three seconds in her 50 freestyle and 15 seconds in her 100 freestyle. She helped the Roger Bacon swim team to a win over Mariemont and Purcell Marian with a second-place finish in the 50 free and third in the 200 freestyle. Her willingness to swim any event her coaches enter her into makes Kate a great asset to the team and to her coaches.
