Cincinnati Christian Track & Field

Congratulations to Savannah, a junior, for her school record-setting throw of 122'3" in the discus on Saturday at the CCD Invitational. Emmalyn, earned a pair of first-place finishes in 1600m and 3200m, with blistering times of 5:39.7(PR) and 11:44.9 respectively.

Evie, a sophomore, scored all 14 points for CCS on Saturday vs. Clark Montessori. He had a reception for a touchdown, a rushing touchdown, and a 2-point conversion. Ireland, also a sophomore, caught a deep pass in our game against Stivers Friday night for her first TD of the season!

Senior, Cincinnati Christian Baseball

Seth pitched five innings giving up no runs with eight strikeouts in earning the win over conference rival Summit Country Day on Monday. The senior also hit .364 for the week.

Freshman Karrie Stacy threw a no-hitter against New Miami. Freshman Jalyn Cole was 6-for-9 at the plate with 10 runs scored, 10 RBIs, and two home runs in three games this week (Norwood, Lockland, and New Miami). She also picked up the win on the mound against Lockland, recording 10 strikeouts along the way. Senior Anna Bowling 7-for-14 hitting, with seven runs scored, eight RBIs, and three doubles on the week.


Zoe Doerger

Sophomore, Cincinnati Country Day Lacrosse

Zoe recorded four goals against Mercy McAuley, three goals against Summit Country Day, and five goals against Madeira this week. She is returning from an injury, and with appropriate moderation is commanding transitions and driving our offensive movement on the field. Our team has been energized by her return, and despite the losses, it was a wonderful week to see our players regain their confidence and rhythm with her back in the lineup.


CCD Girls 4x400 Relay

Cincinnati Country Day Track & Field

Cincinnati Country Day Girls 4x400 relay of sophomore Gabrielle Gonzalez, senior Vanca Pandy, freshman Mariyah Cofer, and junior Nicole Hardesty finished first at the Cincinnati Country Day School Track Invitational to help the team place second out of 12 schools.


Luke Schnieber

Junior, Cincinnati Country Day Track & Field

Luke led the Country Day boys track team to a second-place finish at the Cincinnati Country Day Invitational with a first-place finish in the pole vault, led off the winning 4x400 relay, finished second in the 300 hurdles, and was a part of the second-place 4x100 relay team.


Jhurne Clark

Senior, Lockland Softball

In five games this past week, Jhurne went 12-for-13 with nine runs scored! She also walked seven times and only had one strikeout.


Carson Newberry

Sophomore, Miami Valley Christian Baseball

Carson led the Lions to a perfect 3-0 week, collecting six hits in nine at-bats, with five runs, seven RBIs, and a stolen base. Included in his six hits were three doubles and a pair of triples.


Jacob Curtis

Senior, New Miami Baseball

Jacob, a senior pitcher for the Vikings, picked up a 2-1 win vs. a 5-0 Tri County North team. He hurled seven innings, giving up only two hits, no earned runs, 13 strikeouts, and four walks.


Mekelle Bass

Senior, North College Hill Baseball

Mekelle, a senior pitcher, has been making an impact for NCH baseball this season with a current record of 1–1. Over 9? innings, he’s allowed only four hits and maintains an impressive 1.00 ERA. Mekelle has recorded 18 strikeouts, with seven of those caught looking, showcasing his precision and control on the mound. Beyond his performance on the field, Mekelle continues to lead by example. Recently, when a junior high game was short on officials, he stepped up to umpire thanks to earning his umpiring certification earlier this year. His dedication both on and off the field highlights his commitment to the game and his community.


Lucas Lengerich and Jackson Ravenscraft

In a game against Northwest, Lucas threw his first varsity no-hitter. The freshman went all five innings, allowing no hits and collecting five strikeouts. He also went 2-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs. In our game against Seven Hills, Jackson, a freshman, had a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh inning to get us our first conference win of the season. In our game against Northwest, Jackson went 4-for-5 with six RBIs.

Freshman Bella Stacy and Kinley Messer have paced the offense early in the season, leading the team in hits and RBIs respectively. Junior pitcher Kaydence Ayers had a great week in the circle, going 3-0 on the week with 16 strikeouts.

Josh finished first and established a new PR in the 200m with a time of 23.53. The senior also turned in a new PR in the 100m (11.47) and was also a part of the 4x100m team. Josh helped secure a team total of 16 points!


Seven Hills Track and Field Leaders

Junior Campbell Coyne set a new school record in the 1600 at the Madeira Invitational. Her time of 5:21.21 is a great way to begin the season. Senior Amelia Schnirring won the 100m at Madeira and won both the 100m and 200m at the Cincinnati Country Day Invitational. Senior Claire Bachelder won the 400m and placed second in the 100m (13.26 PR) at the Madeira Invite. She followed that performance with a first in the 400m and a second in the 200m at CCD. Junior Ava Deimling won the high jump (4'8") at Madeira and the 300m hurdles at CCD to help Seven Hills girls win both invitationals. Freshman Emilie Dunoye earned her first high school win with a jump of 14'3.25" in the long jump at CCD. Senior Vaughn Iyoha registered his first win of the season in the 200m with a time of 23.67 at Madeira.

Seven Hills has three freshmen who made the Varsity A this season. In the last week, freshmen Bryan Zhang and Leo Cai went 3-0 and are both 5-0 in MVC league play. Both freshmen worked hard off-season to help boost a young Stinger squad. They have both become great role models for sportsmanship and determination.

Senior, Seven Hills Lacrosse

In the team's first three-game week of the season, senior attacker Siena Motch scored a total of 12 goals and two assists, helping the Lady Stingers secure a win against Oakwood. Her consistent drive to better herself in practice shows up on the field where she fights for every ground ball, slips through strong defenders, and shoots with speed and precision.


SBEP Girls 4x200 Relay

St. Bernard-Elmwood Place Track & Field

The Lady Titans' 4x200 relay placed first at the CCD Invitational on Saturday, led by senior Nyasia Springs, along with freshmen Cece Shepard and Dede Crawford, and junior Aaliyah Odoms.


Deshawn Hicks

Senior, St. Bernard-Elmwood Place Track & Field

Deshawn placed second in discus and third in shot put on Wednesday at Madeira. At the CCD Invitational on Saturday, he placed second in both discus and shot put.


Sam Reder

Senior, Summit Country Day Volleyball

The Knights went 2-1 on the week, falling to Simon Kenton and downing both Scott and Boone County. Sam, senior setter and team captain, had three block assists, 27 digs, nine aces, and 58 assists in the three matches. He is the glue that holds our team together. He gives 100 percent in every match, no matter the opponent.
